Thanks to the downloads of La Toya’s tribute charity song, “Home”, and the proceeds earned from serving milkshakes at, Millions Of Milkshakes, La Toya was able to buy tons of toys, games, food and gift cards as well as donating $10,000 to Aids Project Los Angeles for the children and families affected by the HIV/AIDS virus. La Toya would like to thank everyone who supported this cause and urge them to continue Michael’s charitable legacy and help in the fight to make this world, an AIDS free world. Please go to the La Toya Jackson Channel at www.youtube.com/latoyaonline to see behind the scene footage.
When La Toya decided to release HOME as a tribute single to her beloved brother Michael Jackson, she initially stated that she did not want to do any promotion at all for the song. It was just too soon after Michael’s death.
All the proceeds from the single are donated to AIDS PROJECT LOS ANGELES (http://www.apla.org/giving/giving.html) a charity La Toya supports very strongly and which was also very important to Michael Jackson. Because La Toya would like to do as much as she possibly can for APLA, she is now ready to promote the single.
Over the upcoming two weeks, La Toya will be appearing on the following shows: Friday, September 11th at 10pm on ABC’s 20/20 La Toya will be interviewed by Barbara Walters, then La Toya will do a sit-down with Access Hollywood on the 11th which should air on the 14th, and then La Toya will co-host The View on the 16th & 18th of September.
